Haugesund, Norway: January 29, 2025

The ship arrived in Haugesund at 7:00 am and departed at 10:00 am. The port is on a small island connected to the town by a bridge. It wasn't quite light and nothing was open as we took a walk through the town. Only our fellow passengers were on the pedestrian street. Haugesund is rumored to be the "Home of the Viking Kings." We didn't see any Kings or Vikings. The town was lovely but asleep.

In the afternoon the ship cruised into Hardangerfjord. The scenery was magnificent.
